Vuk Vuković
KU Leuven (BE)

Vuk Vuković is a PhD researcher in nonprofit marketing and fundraising at KU Leuven. His current research examines how organisations can motivate giving while ensuring that the way beneficiaries are represented does not discourage people from seeking support.

Before beginning his PhD, Vuk worked in philanthropy research at Catalyst Balkans and Ipsos, where he authored and edited more than 15 policy reports on giving trends. He currently serves as a country expert for the Global Philanthropy Environment Index (GPEI) and is an active member of the European Research Network on Philanthropy (ERNOP).

His mission is to bring robust research into the nonprofit sector, advising organisations on how to develop evidence-informed fundraising strategies. He has communicated philanthropy research through Alliance Magazine, Euronews, ERNOP publications, and academic and practitioner conferences across Europe.
